Terms of Service

Welcome to Snowflake Family Childcare (“Daycare,” “we,” “our,” “us”). By enrolling your child(ren) (“Child,” “Children”) in our program, you (“Parent(s)” or “Guardian(s)”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read carefully before signing your enrollment agreement.


1. Enrollment & Eligibility

Enrollment is confirmed only after receipt of the completed registration forms, required documentation (e.g., immunization records, emergency contacts), and payment of registration fees.

Children must meet provincial/state licensing and health requirements to attend.


2. Fees & Payments

Tuition is due on [weekly/monthly/bi-weekly] basis, payable in advance by [cash, credit card, e-transfer, etc.].

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.


3. Attendance & Absences

Parents are required to notify the Daycare if a Child will be absent.

Tuition is not reduced or refunded for holidays, illness, vacations, or closures due to weather, health, or other emergencies beyond our control.


4. Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Operating hours are 7:30 AM - 5:00PM from Monday - Friday.

Only authorized individuals (listed on the enrollment form) may pick up a Child. Photo ID may be required.


5. Health & Safety

Children must be kept home if they show signs of illness including fever, vomiting, diarrhea, contagious rashes, or any condition deemed unsafe for others.

The Daycare reserves the right to refuse entry or request pick-up if a Child becomes ill during the day.

Emergency medical care may be sought if deemed necessary. Parents are financially responsible for all related costs.


6. Meals & Nutrition

Snacks are provided but Parent's must provide their child(ren) with meals before Daycare.

Parents are responsible for disclosing all allergies and dietary restrictions in writing.

We are a nut-free facility and expect full compliance.


7. Behavior & Discipline

Positive reinforcement and redirection are our primary methods of guidance.

Aggressive, unsafe, or consistently disruptive behavior may result in suspension or termination of enrollment.


8. Personal Belongings

Parents should label all personal belongings.

The Daycare is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.


9. Communication

Daycare staff will communicate with Parents through email and phone.

Parents must provide updated contact information at all times.


10. Photos & Media

With parental consent, photos/videos of Children may be taken for classroom activities, displays, or marketing purposes.

Parents may opt out in writing.


11. Termination of Services

Parents may terminate enrollment with 2 weeks written notice.

The Daycare reserves the right to terminate services immediately for non-payment, repeated policy violations, or safety concerns.


12. Liability & Indemnification

While we strive to provide a safe environment, Parents acknowledge that participation in daycare involves inherent risks.

Parents agree to release and hold harmless Snowflake Family Childcare, its staff, and affiliates from liability for injury, illness, or accidents, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.


13. Policy Changes

The Daycare reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Notice of changes will be provided to Parents. Continued enrollment constitutes acceptance.


14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of BC, Canada.
